BRP’s Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF), where the best kart drivers from all over the world race for the title, will be held on the South American continent for the first time. “We’re very pleased to announce this year’s venue is Brazil, and the first time that the RMCGF will be held in South America. This new location will add another level of attraction to the RMCGF, which is renowned as the world’s foremost karting event once more,” said Peter Oelsinger, Vice-President, Rotax Propulsion Systems at BRP. “The Circuito Internacional Paladino meets all the requirements for such a high level event and offers the best possible conditions for participants.”The 2018 RMCGF will be hosted at the International Karting Circuit Paladino of Conde in Paraíba, Brazil from November 26 to December 1, 2018. “The passion and thrill of karting makes this sport very popular in Brazil. The Grand Finals will be the highlight of our kart racing calendar in 2018, and we will be pleased to welcome people from all over the world to our country,” stated Waldner Bernado de Oliveira, President of the Confederação Brasileira de Automobilismo (CBA). Brazil will host the impressive finale of the karting season with 360 drivers coming from close to 60 countries during the 19th edition of this famous race, organized with local professional partners including the Rotax kart distributor for Brazil, Rotax Mach 5. The track Circuito Internacional Paladino is located in Conde, Paraiba in the Northeast of Brazil, a tourist and industrial hotspot, also known for its rich cultural heritage and beautiful beaches. Paladino is a popular choice for drivers since the circuit provides both speed and ample passing opportunities. “We are delighted to organize the Grand Finals with BRP at our track and will focus all our efforts on ensuring the success of the RMCGF and its participants,” said Sergio Crispim, the owner and manager of Circuito Internacional Paladino. The Rotax MAX Challenge (RMC) is a professional kart racing series established, owned and organized by BRP and its Rotax kart engine distributors. Approved by and in compliance with CIK / FIA, the RMC is a “one-make-engine” formula: only Rotax kart engines that are checked and sealed (for equal performance) will be used. With an equal technical playing field, the success in the competition is primarily dependent on the skills of the driver.
The Paladino International Circuit is the only kart track in Latin America with a track approved by the International Automobile Federation (FIA),capable of hosting national and international competitions.There are 1,298 m of track for any rider to achieve high speeds in complete safety.
