The Belton Woods hotel in Grantham, Lincolnshire, recently hosted the 2019 Trent Valley Kart Club Awards Night on January 25th, 2020, which culminated in the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Paul Fletcher International Circuit.

With over 100 people in attendance, including Paul Fletcher himself, both Alex Goldschmidt and TVKC’s very own Nigel Edwards were entrusted with presenting the event, with the assistance of Paul Fletcher, TVKC Competition Secretary Danielle Short and Club Secretary Clare Mills, in handing the driver with their awards.

Here are the award winners from the evening, when it came to the Rotax categories:

Inaugural PF Plate Winners:

Mini Max – Luke Ringham (Spirit of Senna)

Junior Max – James Winter (Team 696 Racing)

Senior Max – James Lowther (Coles Racing)

All winners were re-presented with their PF plates by Paul Fletcher.

Autumn Cup Winners:

Mini Max – Cruz Speakman (Project One)

Junior Max – Mattie Hingeley (Ultimate-R)

Senior Max – James Lowther (Coles Racing)

177 Rotax – Nathan Chafer (Privateer)

All winners received a set of MOJO slick and wet tyres.

Novice of the Year:

Mini Max – Ollie Goodyear (Privateer)

(Award accepted on his behalf by 177 Max driver Nathan Chafer)

Winner received 10 free practice vouchers, a trophy and a canvas print.

Rookies of the Year:

Junior Max – Joshua Vallance (MSport)

Senior Max – Louis Fleet (Team Avago)

All winners received 10 free practice vouchers, a trophy and a canvas print.

Drivers of the Year:

Mini Max – Luke Ringham (Spirit of Senna)

Junior Max – Madison Foley (Privateer)

Senior Max – James Lowther (Coles Racing)

177 Rotax – John Scott (D&J Racing)

All winners, who were selected by the board of Trent Valley Kart Club, received 10 free practice vouchers, a trophy and a canvas print.

We would like to wish all the winners from the 2019 TVKC Awards Night, and wish them well for the forthcoming season, along with many happy returns to John Scott himself, who celebrated his 50th birthday last week.

Don’t forget that the second round of the 2020 Trent Valley Kart Club Winter Series continues this very weekend between the 1st and 2nd of February.
